Last minute decision to grab beef ribs and sides on North Riverside after a friend recommended this spot — and wow, it delivered. We got the beef rib, three sides, four sauces including the house sauce and two BBQs, and everything was incredible. Honestly better than Roy Hutchins in our opinion. We ate inside right before closing and didn’t want to be “those people,” but the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Super welcoming, never rushed us once, and even threw in two drinks since we wanted to dine in. That kind of customer service goes a long way. The food was fresh, flavorful, and the beef rib was exactly what you hope for — tender, smoky, and worth every bite. We live in Keller now and this place is absolutely worth the drive back. Easy 5 stars.

OMG - there are no words to explain how great this place was. We came here after exploring the Stockyards hoping for somewhere with parking and good BBQ that wasn’t going to be overpriced! This place hit the spot. 🙏 We were greeted immediately and they explained everything quickly to us before ordering. The beef ribs were so tender and the smoke was perfect. Additionally, we got the rice bowl which was also a 10/10!!!!! HIGHLY recommend for families as this place is huge!

Smokey Beards in Fort Worth just set a new standard for BBQ. The beef dino rib was unbelievably tender, literally falling off the bone and easy to cut with a plastic fork. The BBQ sauce is rich and delicious, the sliced brisket was perfectly juicy, and the brisket fries are insanely good. What really surprised me was how amazing the rice was, and even the mac and cheese stood out because you can actually taste the blend of melted cheeses in every bite. I highly recommend this spot. Definitely a new BBQ staple in Fort Worth.

After spending the day exploring the Fort Worth Stockyards, we made the quick 10-minute drive to Smoky Beard's Barbecue, and I'm so glad we did. Every single thing we ordered was incredibly delicious and tasted so fresh. The meat was honestly some of the most tender barbecue I've ever had. It practically melted in your mouth and was packed with amazing flavor. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service. Raul was so kind, welcoming, and helpful. He took the time to answer our questions, made great recommendations, and made us feel right at home. If you're visiting the Stockyards, or just find yourself in Fort Worth, do yourself a favor and make the short drive to Smoky Beard's Barbecue. The food is exceptional, the service is top-notch, and it's absolutely worth the trip. We'll definitely be back!

Recently while in Fort Worth, Texas I tried Smokey Beards Q a new restaurant a couple miles Northeast of downtown. The restaurant is currently in the soft opening phase as they work through perfecting menu items, training staff and learning the capabilities of their space. Smokey Beards is a Halal restaurant so no pork is served and the meat is typically better than a traditional American restaurant that has no ethical limitations on source ingredients. I told the staff my preferred items and asked for their recommendations and ordered the following: Brisket: I ordered a thick 1/2 lb slice of moist brisket. The bark was pronounced and flavorful, the meat had a good balance of lean and fat and the flavor was great throughout. Beef Dino rib: The seasoning was similar to the brisket but the Dino rib has larger areas of fat that were all perfectly rendered. Eating a Dino rib without a sharp knife means you get long strands of meat vs pieces cut against the grain. The flavor and moisture has to be great or it becomes more of a chore than a delight. This was one of the better that I have had at a BBQ restaurant. Kabsa Rice: The tomato paste was light, the cardamom and other spices were perfect. This was great for someone who wanted the flavor without it being an overpowering dish, it complimented the other items well. Macaroni and cheese: Creamy cheese sauce with soft noodles, this was as good as any other I have tried at a BBQ restaurant. Dubai chocolate cake: I returned to the order line after eating to get this to go. The top layer slid off of the middle layer which only affected the visual aesthetic. This was a good middle of the road desert, I will try the Banana pudding tiramisu on my next visit.
